In-Store Winemaking Step-by-Step

In-store winemaking requires two visits to the store. On the first visit, you select the type of wine you want to make and then start the fermentation process. Upon return for your second visit, you will actually bottle your wine. Details follow:

Step 1 - Select the wine varietal that you want to make. Choose from one of more than 60 different award winning kits in three categories from RJ Spagnols:

a) Orchard Breezin' - 5.5 liter, 4 week lower alcohol wine kits that offer a refreshing alternative to wine coolers. They are a perfect balance of fruit and wine, not too sweet, not too dry.

b) Grand Cru - 10 liter, 4 week wine kits. Grand Cru is drinkable when young and great for casual entertaining.

c) Cellar Classic - Super premium, 15 liter 6 week wine kit. If you are willing to invest a little time and patience, you will be rewarded with a superior wine.

All of our wine kits are make from 100% varietal grape juice and concentrates selected from the finest vineyards around the world. We offer a complete line of wine kits from one of the largest producers in the industry.

Step 2 - Start fermenting your wine in our climate controlled store using our sanitized equipment.

Step 3 - During the next 4 to 6 weeks, our experienced winemaker will transfer, degas, stabilize and filter your wine.

Step 4 - Upon your return, your wine will be ready to bottle at which time you can bring in your own clean recycled bottles or purchase our new bottles in a variety of shapes and sizes.

YOUR KIT will produce 30 bottles of wine at a finished cost of $6.50 to $9.00 a bottle - even less if your bring your own recycled bottles. We furnish new corks and decorative foils at no extra cost and have a number of labeling options available for your consideration.
